1996

The long-established local family-owned company of Croxdale Service Station looks to diversify and create a long term reliable and trusted servicing and maintenance solution for it’s customers. Croxdale Fast Fit is conceptualised, building work begins.

January

1997

Croxdale Fast Fit (Durham) branch is opened with 3 locally employed staff, welcoming in both existing Croxdale customers and new customers to the business. We were proud to now be able to offer servicing, MOT and maintenance to all makes and models of vehicle.

June

1998

Croxdale Fast Fit expands into Newton Aycliffe with a new purpose-built premises at the head of the Industrial Estate, just off the A167.

June

1999

The Company expands North of Durham City and opens a new branch on the site of a former filling station on the A167 at Chester Le Street. We now have 15 staff members.

August

1999

Hot on the heels of Chester Le Street, Croxdale Fast Fit opens it’s 4th branch in the large town of Consett in the North-West of the County on the well-established former Siddle Cook site.

July

2000

Croxdale Fast Fit reaches South into the Borough of Darlington, opening a new autocentre on the site of the former “White Horse” garage on North Road.

October

2006

The Company expands East into Tyne and Wear and opens a new large multi-feature site on Ryhope Road in Sunderland. We now have over 40 full time members of staff.

January

2007

Croxdale Fast Fit celebrates being established for 10 years and focuses on further cementing our credentials and continuing to deliver “Service Built on Trust” for our many thousands of loyal long-term and new customers.

2012

Croxdale Fast Fit launches our first full website online at www.croxdalefastfit.co.uk, offering customers a digital booking solution for servicing, MOT and Tyres for the first time.
